Jared Dudley is the Lakers savior confirmed
[–][LAL] Kyle Kuzma TheOriginalElTigre 19
That’s 2020 Finals MVP Jared Dudley sir

Honestly was a big piece of the win tonight. Guy gives so much hustle and is such a likable player.

If someone told me during the off-season that Dudley and Dwight would be tied for my favorite new acquisition I would've laughed in their face.
This man is a chubby treasure.
[–][LAL] Brandon Ingram puddingpupp 94
Seriously though, glue guys are underappreciated
[–]kobmug_v2 7 指標 5小時前
Dudley is such a good defender. Our rotations look so much better when he’s in.
[–][LAL] Kobe Bryant Count_Sack_McGee 20
What is amazing about Dudley is that he can go two weeks barely playing then come in and immediately make plays whenever called upon. That must be tough but it is the sign of a true professional. There's something to be said about knowing how to be a good 11/12th man.
[–]Lakers henryofclay 20
I was waiting for Vogel to use him against the Celtics before the game got out of hand. He’d play super smart, would’ve helped with the wing penetration and moving the ball better on offense.
Even just for a short spurt it would’ve been effective, Dudley should get at least a few mins every night.
[–][BOS] Tom Heinsohn EnjoyWolfCola 7
Dudley has always been an awesome teammate. Doesn’t care about his role but supports the young guys and is always ready to do his best on the bench.
That play last year where he shoved Rubio sums it up. Chriss was completely in the wrong with how he was acting but Dudley still came to his defense immediately with no knowledge of the situation. It looked bad to the general public (he was murdered on here) but teammates love that shit.

Ok, Dwight Howard is playing like it’s 2009
[–]return_of_the_ring 3 指標 2小時前
Playing for a contender seems to have fanned the flames into an inferno. Also, having fun playing with Lebron helps a bit.
Reminding the league that the Lakers are more than capable of making 3s. The Celtics game was an anomaly.
[–][BRK] Caris LeVert MolingHard 2
The starting Nets and Celtics perimeter defense is pretty much opposites. It'll be interesting to see the Lakers in the post season, they can steam roll any team down low, but any team with a lot of strong wing players like the Clips, Bucks, or C's seem to absolute stifle the Lakers 3 PT % making it way harder for LeBron and AD to operate inside.
[–]Lakers dreezyyyy 2
Lebron/AD PnR in the playoffs should help with freeing up shooters to an extent.
[–]Lakers dreezyyyy 1
If that Iggy trade went through, that’d be insane. Also, adding Darren Collison or trading for another playmaker would definitely help us out as well.
dudley has to be a part of their permanent rotation honestly, it can’t just be oh we’re missing someone so we need to give mins elsewhere. he should be getting 8-10 mins nightly. he just knows how to play, knows where to be on defense, rotates nicely, finds the open spots on offense.
also lmao that was so rude of lebron to do that to the nets at the end
and lastly holy shit that pass from rondo to daniels near the end was INSANE

kyrie looked bad
[–][DAL] Wang Zhizhi suzukigun4life 88
Kyrie tonight: 7/17 from the floor, 4 turnovers, game-worst -26 from the floor
[–][LAL] Marcelo Huertas henstobs11 27
He showed the most effort out of any Nets player out there. Had some good looks but just didn't make it, others were vs. scary defense.
Of course he's gonna have a bad +/- when he was playing vs. the best lineup of the Lakers that became a blowout when they turned it up.
And that's not as inefficient as you're trying to make it out to be
[–]Nets CamReddish 32
+- is useless for a single game
People only talk about it when it fits the narrative
Kyrie is a terrible 1st option.
KD, amazing as he is, isnt a leader either. going to be interesting to watch how the Nets build their leadership & identity
[–]East Side221 3
Well leader or not, KD is on a different tier than Kyrie and has an argument for being the best player in the world when healthy. He's as good a first option as you could hope for. The true danger to this team will be when Kyrie realizes he's stuck in KD's shadow and how he responds to that.

This is exactly how I’ve felt all season. Feels weird to win again.
[–]NBA Fanfics 13
I get a mini-panic attack whenever we sit out LeBron without at least a 20 point lead.
All those years where we'd somehow be up 10-15 but can't close it out in the 4th quarter gives me some bad PTSD.
[–]Lakers yungtatha 85
That 2nd half defense holy moly
That Lakers fourth quarter was legit.
Yeah, the Los Angeles LeBron's looked real good with Dudley at the 5 lol
[–][LAL] LeBron James Le-Brow 61
It’s called getting AD and Dwight out the way. Lebron is amazing with 4 shooters that you can’t leave open
[–][LAL] Marcelo Huertas henstobs11 47
Bron+4 shooters and Bron-AD PnR not being used that much really makes me excited that Lakers can perform this well despite hiding those weapons. They still need to practice those in actual games but I'm fine with them sticking to the usual play for now
[–][LAL] Vlade Divac weeyummy1 17
We're gonna practice it in the first round of playoffs
They gave up 70 1st half points and only 43 2nd half points.
[–]Lakers markjay6 23
And a bunch of those were in the last few minutes after the game was on ice.
[–]Lakers 2easy619 6
That's that playoffs defense. We only show it in the 4th which is why we are down 10 after the 3rd and we don't give a fuck because we know we can shut them down. Check how many games we have been down in the 3rd or early 4th and then have won by 10+ it's insane.
AD didn't even have to play the 4th.
[–]Nets AtWorkAndOnReddit 286
LeBron flipped a switch in the 4th just to remind Kyrie what he left.
Miss Dudley such a fun glue guy.

How you gonna lose to the Lakers with Dudley at the 5?? Lmao
The Mavs did it a week or so ago.
The dumb thing is, not once did Carlisle try to put Boban in the game when we were running Dudley at the 5 for a whole half. Both our centers were at 5 fouls each halfway through the game, but Carlisle didn't think to take advantage of that for some reason.
I posted this multiple times after that game but I still see people having this take.
Boban was getting absolutely torched by our offense, we kept putting him in the pick and roll and he was too slow, so we got open shots or past him every time. Sure he scored a bunch but so did we.
[–][DAL] Wang Zhizhi suzukigun4life 19
They made 20 threes and STILL got blown out
[–][BRK] Caris LeVert MolingHard 30
I mean the Lakers made... 19, on a 53% clip. Not much of an advantage lol.
[–][LAL] Marcelo Huertas henstobs11 3
Problem was Nets' lack of big bodies to defend Bron and AD. They either got to do what they wanted or had to be fouled to be stopped. Even fouling didn't work that much.
3s were raining for both so that just cancelled out lol
